With the survivors facing an increasingly horrific reality, the virus has mutated into something far more dangerous. Gone are the days of mindless zombies. Following the carnage of Season 1, the remaining characters, including Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), now leading a disturbing faction of “half-bies”—a new breed caught between human and monstrous—are pushed to their limits. The military’s quarantine walls are no longer impenetrable, and the survivors are faced with a new, more intelligent breed of undead.
