EXTRACTION 3 (2025) – Official Trailer Review

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Golshifteh Farahani, Priyanshu Painyuli, and a new surprise villain

Directed by Sam Hargrave

Tyler Rake returns, more brutal, more broken, and more unstoppable than ever.

The newly released trailer for Extraction 3 explodes onto the screen like a grenade, confirming what fans have been hoping for: the action is bigger, the stakes are higher, and the emotional toll is deeper than ever. Chris Hemsworth returns as the ruthless black-ops mercenary Tyler Rake, still haunted by the ghosts of his past, but once again drawn into the chaos of another deadly mission—this time, not in search of redemption, but revenge.

Set in multiple war-torn regions, from the frozen Caucasus Mountains to a sun-scorched Eastern European prison complex, the trailer teases a brutal, global chase. Golshifteh Farahani returns as Nik, now commanding her own tactical unit, and the chemistry between her and Rake has never felt more authentic or emotional.

The action is raw and realistic. We get a glimpse of a single-shot hallway battle under firelight, a rainy rooftop knife fight, and a bridge showdown that’s already considered one of the franchise’s best. Rake is bloodied, bruised, and angrier than ever, and Hemsworth delivers with intensity and vulnerability.

But it’s the trailer’s final shot that steals the show: Rake faces off against a new villain, played by an anonymous but immediately imposing actor, as he growls, “You survived twice. The third time is a curse.”

And then comes the faint. And then comes the chill.

Verdict:

Extraction 3 promises to deliver everything fans crave: breathtaking stunts, stylish violence, and a hero as human as he is lethal. The trailer promises an emotional war wrapped in explosive action. Tyler Rake’s final chapter? We don’t know. But it’s definitely going to hurt.
