Years after breaking Dr. Facilier’s curse and opening her dream restaurant, Princess Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose) is living her best life in New Orleans—until whispers of a new dark magic begin to stir in the bayou. When strange shadows creep back into the city and the stars themselves seem to flicker, Tiana must face the truth: some spirits don’t stay buried forever.
With her husband Naveen (voiced by Bruno Campos) by her side, Tiana sets out on a journey deep into the heart of the mystical bayou to uncover who—or what—is behind the new darkness. Along the way, she reunites with old friends Louis the trumpet-playing gator and Ray’s firefly family, who guide her toward an ancient voodoo power older than Facilier himself.
But when a charming stranger arrives claiming to be a “shadow doctor” with the power to seal the rift between worlds, Tiana must decide whether to trust him—or risk losing everything she’s built.
