There, she is tasked with preparing every meal for the enigmatic and fearsome ruler known only as The Tyrant.
But nothing in the palace is what it seems.
Every dish Seo Jin creates is tasted with suspicion. Every bite the tyrant takes could be her last moment of freedom — or life. As she gains the ruler’s trust through her ingenious use of forgotten ingredients and bold culinary risks, Seo Jin uncovers a secret: the last chef was murdered, and she may be next.
